Orientation in Boston

Last Saturday I arrived in Boston for the start of Orientation for my semester abroad with the International Honors Program http://www.ihp.edu/programs/hc/. Since then I haven't had a chance to do anything outside the program. Every day has been a constant 9-5 of Lectures both from the Proffessors who travel with us and visiting lecturers. Many of the guest lectures are from experts in the fields who are fasciniating. The Proffesors who are travelling with the group are all great. They are all accomplished in their respective fields, one is an MD with a job in Public Health another is a former researcher for the International Labor Office of the U.N and now does her own Consulting research in Occupational Health. The third Proffesor is an anthropologist. They are all very well travelled and have done research in many different countries and have very different perspectives which should be interesting. Their are 31 students in the program from all over the country with students from every school from Harvard to Colorado College to UC Berkeley and with a variety of majors ranging from Development Studies to Math. All of us on the program are getting along really well so far and it should be a great experience travelling the world with them . That's all for now I am looking forward to India and will try to post as regularly as I can.
